Doing Disneyland without Genie+ is very doable! We’ve gone without it to save some money. You just need to know what you are doing! Here are some tips for a day with no Genie+:
- ROPE DROP– this is a must. Get to the park at least 30 minutes before the park opens. Lines will be short the first couple hours.
- SIGNLE RIDER– utilize rides that have single rider, it is almost always a shorter ride.
- SHOWS, SNACKS and SHOP– int he afternoon when lines are long, take it easy! Grab some snacks, watch a show and do a little shopping!
- PARK CLOSE– if your die hard like us, stay late and the lines will shorten again!

Evening
The later you stay the shorter the lines will get! Lines tend to be short during parades and fireworks if you are willing to miss those. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, get in line for Rise of the Resistance 20-30 minutes beofre the ride closes. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE APP for when the ride closes, it always closes before the park does!
