We were recently hosted at the Residence Inn Anaheim. All opinions are my own, honest opinions.
The Residence Inn is 1.5 miles from Disneyland. It’s not close enough to walk, which is a bummer, but there are a lot of other benefits to staying here. They have the ART bus you can use, or we parked at the Anaheim Hotel for $30 and walked from there. It was closer and easier to park there, then going to Mickey and Friends parking.
The rooms have everything you need! We had two queen beds, plus the sofa pulled out to a bed. Perfect for two kids to sleep on. They also delivered a crib for my baby to sleep in. So nice not to have to travel and pack our own crib! The bedroom had a door which was also beneficial, having the baby there. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with pots, pans and dishes! It has all the appliances you would need in a kitchen. We brought ramen noodles, macaroni and cheese, and PB&J’s for fast easy meals. The kitchen made a HUGE difference!
Breakfast is included in your stay. We LOVED their hot breakfast! So many options including make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels and toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal and more! There is something for everyone. This is important to us when we book a hotel. We want to have a filling breakfast before we hit the parks. We love when we can have a buffet like this, so the kids have a lot of options to choose from.
They have a lovely outside area that has a sport court and a pool and hot tub. We used the hot tub and really enjoyed it. My husband used the gym (Disneyland is my gym ;)) and was impressed with their equipment. They really don’t miss a beat here.
It was also my sons birthday while we were there. I noticed when we checked in, a birthday sign with other hotel guests name on it. I told the front desk, that my sons birthday was the next day, and not only did he get his name on the sign, he had balloons and a gift in our room waiting for him! It was SO nice. It made him feel extra special and I was so impressed that they went the extra mile for him.
If you’re looking for a family friendly hotel, free breakfast, don’t mind driving to the parks, and friendly staff, I would recommend the Residence Inn Anaheim!
